Steeped in 53 years of tradition, AAMI Golden Slipper Day is synonymous with glamour, grandeur and a great all-day experience. The richest day of Australian racing has staked its claim as Sydney’s No. 1 social event, with tens of thousands converging on Rosehill Gardens to experience the country’s finest racing program coupled with hospitality by our national award winning team. With the event falling on Easter Saturday for the first time, 2010 is certain to be a super year for the Slipper.

What's On

• AAMI Golden Slipper, a 1,200 metre sprint for the brightest two-year-old thoroughbreds in Australia, worth $3.5 million – the world’s richest
• The BMW, $2.25 million weight for age race over 2,400 metres
• Myer Fashions on the Field (open competition for both men and women)
• Chart topping ‘Potbelleez’ performing in the Party HQ
• Entertainment throughout the day including the arrival of the Slipper trophy, bands and roving performers
• Charity souvenir pin for sale - chance to win great prizes and proceeds going to support children with cerebral palsy
